Mignonisme (Cuteism) is a poetically off-kilter movement to embrace the aesthetics of the cute in our physical and psychic environments. Philippe Katerine presents a series of ten inflatable sculptures in public spaces, all featuring “Monsieur Rose” (Mr. Pink). The monumental icon of Mignonisme can be found perched on rooftops scattered around the city. These characters transform the streets into playful places and our daily travels into delightful, colourful journeys.
