PROJET 0°
A reimagined ice sculpture circuit
ARTWORK DESCRIPTION
PROJET 0°
Inspired by the traditional ice sculptures of the Québec Winter Carnival, this contemporary creative twist to winter festivities proposes a group exhibition of photographic installations presented in backlit blocks of ice. Conceived as a reflection on our relationship with winter in an age of precarious environmental equilibrium, the outdoor exhibition brings together strong voices in contemporary art. Playing on the contrast between hot and cold, the artists’ explorations of climate change open dialogue with the icy matter.
