Still Not my story

VINCENT OLINET

ARTWORK DESCRIPTION

Still Not my story

Floating on the surface of a body of water is a mysterious four-poster bed fitted with a chandelier reflecting its light on the surface nightly. Symbol of status and nobility since the Renaissance, this spectacular pastel example also evokes well-loved fairy tales, while seeing an object normally associated with the most intimate of spaces adrift, exposed to the public eye and elements alike, calls to mind a host of surprising scenarios.
